Nikole Edwards said Ghostwriting is the process of writing a piece that is copied under a different name. For example, ghostwriting does not include mentioning the byline, because the actual author may vary from person to person. Ghostwriting simply means overwriting a piece you’ve written.
A ghostwriter is a writer who is hired and paid but does not receive recognition for the work produced. Ghostwriters are hired to write literary or journalistic works (speeches or other texts) without acknowledging the person who is the author. A ghostwriter (freelance writer) who is paid in advance to do the work gets no money from the work, is commissioned to do the work and accepts no or no recognition for his ghostwriting work.
